Mike is a local Lib Dem activist who is experienced in campaigning for the local area. He grew up and lived on the Briar Hill estate until he was 20 before moving to the Eastern District with his now wife, Tracey. Mike & Tracey celebrated the birth of their son Jamie in March 2008. Mike attended Northampton School for Boys which he left in 1999, aged 16 to work for outdoor event contactor for 7 years before moving into the telecommunications industry. He now works for an IT Networking Company in Milton Keynes.

Mike became involved in politics because he felt that “Party Politics” prevented REAL people getting their views across and prevented their right to a proper representative for the area. The Liberal Democrats belief of “Community Politics” allowed Mike to access local councillors who care for the area and can GET THINGS DONE, something that wouldnt have been possible with representatives of other parties. Mike believes he can provide a REAL VOICE for the people of Brookside and spends much of his spare time in the area, speaking to residents to find THEIR VIEWS on the REAL ISSUES.
