Following the opening of the play area at the old Mill Wheel site, another play area has been installed at Lings Playing Fields adjacent to the Priors Courts.  Following campaigns from the Lib Dems as well as other local campaigners, the play area has been built and is being enjoyed by local children on a daily basis.  Mike Fuller said “This is another great example of where local people come together with a voice then good things happen that make the whole community happy”.  The play area, partly funded by Lib Dem County Councillor Richard Giddings’ enpowerment fund celebrates its official opening on October 25th at 12:00-1500 with refreshments and entertainment provided.
